"Zero accuracy when switching homeowners policy. Actual owner (family trust) was never listed as an insured or additional insured. Took about 30 days and half a dozen emails for them to correct their error. I wouldn't let Matthew walk my dog across the street. RESPONSE TO INACCURATE REPLY BY MATTHEW ARNOLD Matthew calling me passive aggressive and unprofessional is inaccurate as are the erroneous facts in his response. He overlooked the real dates events occurred or performed erroneous math. Here is the timeline: (1) 10/17/2025 I email his assistant explaining the Family Trust's ownership of the $400k+ home which she acknowledges with a response on bundled rate. The owner of the home (Family Trust) still does not have proof of coverage as I type on 11/22/2025. My math indicates that is more than 18 days; (2) I email his assistant 10/22/2025 prior agent's quote showing the correct name of the actual owner of the home;. Again, more than 18 days (3) 10/23/2025 advised his assistant we want coverage effective 10/29/2025 and provide a copy of the Certificate of Trust acknowledged by response from assistant on 10/24/2025. Again, more than 18 days; (4) 11/03/2025 get actual Declarations page which omit the Trust as the owner and immediately call it to his assistant's attention via email. She replies assuring me the trust IS NAMED in the policy (it's not) - Matthew sends an email to the other Trustees who are not dealing directly with his office and excludes me for some reason; (5) 10/21/2025 I send Matthew an email asking questions about auto policy and Trust not being included on homeowner's as an additional insured since I've never received a response and he didn't follow-up with me. He asks how I want to proceed when it should be clear the Trust must be an insured or additional insured. I was assertive and asked if Matthew had Errors and Omissions coverage. Still haven't seen proof of that either. I was professional and will publish the entire email thread if necessary to rebut more inaccuracy by Matthew Arnold. RESPONSE TO SECOND REPLY BY MATTHEW ARNOLD Sure would have been nice and professional of you to follow-up with me in any fashion before I sent you the email on 11/21. It is now 11/25 and I still do not have evidence of coverage for the trust."
"I appreciate you sharing your perspective. We did make an error during your homeowners policy switch, and I apologized for that several times while working quickly to get it corrected. What’s not reflected here is how difficult and unprofessional you were to work with throughout the process. An email was sent 11/03 confirming how you wanted the policy and for some reason that email didn’t make it to you, only your trustees. I always treat people with respect, and I expect the same in return. Mistakes can happen in insurance — what matters is how quickly they’re fixed. Even after resolving the issue, the tone and passive-aggressive comments continued, which made it clear we weren’t going to be a good fit. It was 18 days and 7 emails, only because you didn’t get my original email. No need to exaggerate. I truly hope your experience with your new State Farm agent works out better for you, and I wish you the best going forward. RESPONSE: 11/03/2025 You emailed Brandi about trust not being listed and you being account holder. She deferred the situation to me and 11/03 is the FIRST day I was involved. 11/03/2025 I sent an email and for some reason you were removed and it went to your trustees, who you included on the email chain originally. I apologized that this did not make it to you multiple times and will again; I am sorry. In this email I asked for clarification if you wanted the trust as AI or NI. I didn't know how to proceed and waited for your response. 11/20/2025 (19 days later) You sent me an email in a combative tone asking for my E&O, even though there has been no loss. A couple emails later I confirmed you wanted trust as AI and submitted the change. Once again, I am sorry for your frustrations with this situation. I hope you have a wonderful holiday. SECOND RESPONSE: Again, I apologized the "reply all" email didn't make it to you. I also apologize for assuming my email works, as it does daily. I explained multiple times why the delay happened and even tried to own it - but you constantly act like it isn't enough. I added the trust 11/21 and then you transferred to another Agent. I know you said, "I shouldn't have to order anything" but I do. After I submit the change, it takes about 7-14 days to process and get the document. I shared all the notes and filled in your new Agent so he knows where it is in the process. "

"Unfortunately, we can't see your claims history until we submit for underwriting. State Farm has an acceptable number of claims in the past, and you are over the amount. That did make a change to your auto insurance rate, but this is standard practice - not "greed". I do thank you for your 7 years of loyalty and also apologize that your claims made you ineligible. If you need anything else or want to speak with me about the issue, please let me know. I understand the frustration but taking it out on a local Agent's Google reviews doesn't seem right to me. "
